Lamp Mode President Json Releases Emotional ‘Secrets’ Video

When it was revealed to Lamp Mode Recordings president Jason “Json” Watson that his wife Lawanda was raped by her father at age nine, it broke his heart. So he shared that pain through a two-part song, “Secrets”.

To kick off 2015, the Stellar® Award nominated Christian rapper is releasing the visual interpretation of the horrific violation through a new video directed by Kre8tor Films.

First recorded in 2012 and 2013 respectively, according to Json, “Secrets” part one (from his Growing Pains album) and two (from his Braille album) will be re-released as bonus tracks on his forthcoming album slated to drop in the first quarter of 2015.

When asked why he chose to revisit “Secrets” now, Json said, “So many people have hit me up, letting me know how the songs have blessed and ministered to them.”
