Tasha Cobbs Tops Billboard With 'One Place Live' + Top 10 Gospel Albums

“One Place Live,” the sophomore album from Grammy Award winning Gospel singer Tasha Cobbs, lands at the top of Billboard’s Gospel and Christian/Gospel Albums charts.

Additionally, “One Place Live” debuts at #28 on the Billboard Top-200 and, with 480,000 detected streams, was the most streamed Gospel album this week.

This is Tasha’s second consecutive #1 album. Her major label debut offering, Grace has resided in the top 10 on Billboard, remarkably, for over 2 years.

Excited about her newest release Tasha Cobbs, says: “One Place Live is a collection of songs that helped me through some of the best & worst seasons of my life! I am excited to know that these songs are helping so many others around the globe!”

Cobbs has promoted “One Place Live” at key, high profile appearances that included major churches around the country such as New York’s Greater Allen Cathedral and Dallas’ Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, consumer driven album release events in Nashville and Atlanta, T.D. Jakes’ MegaFest, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s Festival of Hope and a multitude of radio and press.

Cobbs was the only Gospel singer invited to debut music at the Radio One Urban Blitz in New York, and gave tastemakers in Los Angeles an intimate first listen to the sonic masterpiece during a showcase at Capitol Studios where she also performed and held an exclusive, candid conversation with Billy Johnson, Jr. of Yahoo! Music.

Ken Pennell, President Gospel Music, Capitol CMG, says: “Tasha’s fans have been waiting feverishly for the release of ‘One Place Live’ The purity and power of Tasha’s performance have made the wait worthwhile. At Motown Gospel, we are proud to work with Tasha to take her ministry to a rapidly growing audience.”
