Behind The Scenes: Erica Campbell and Jonathan McReynolds Collaborate On New Song [VIDEO]

GETTYArticle By TJ White:: EEW Magazine News & Entertainment

Erica Campbell is featuring the butter-smooth vocals of Jonathan McReynolds on her new Help 2.0 album.

In a newly released behind-the-scenes video, the 42-year-old GRAMMY® award-winning vocalist shares how the song “All I Need Is You” came to be.

All I Need Is You was written when I was driving down the 110 Freeway and I was pretty stressed out, and I had a whole lot of questions, and it was a pretty doubtful day,” explained Campbell, who penned the number with the help of her husband and producer Warryn Campbell.

She added, “And so I had to remind myself that if I had God, it is enough.”

McReynolds, 25, known for songs like “Loving Me” and “No Gray,” is seen working through harmonies and arrangements in the studio with Campbell.

The two blended their distinct flavors on camera and awakened excitement in fans who watched, making them eager to hear the final outcome of the collaboration.

Before “All I Need Is You” took shape, Campbell explained, “I was literally like moments from the exit and I was singing the song, and I walked into the house and I was like, ‘Warryn I want to sing something for you.'"

She continued, "What you hear on the beginning of the song—the original—was literally what we were sitting in our room humming.”

Help 2.0 hits stores everywhere March 31.
