I’m Healed: Donnie McClurkin Miraculously Recovers After Tina Campbell Prays

Article by Portia Hendrix:: EEW Magazine News & Entertainment

James 5:15 says, “And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.” It seems that Pastor Donnie McClurkin is validating the truth of that scripture.

According to him, when Grammy-winning gospel artist Tina Campbell prayed for him during the process of recording his latest chart-topping Duets CD, some unspecified “diseases” disappeared.

In a social cam video uploaded to the Perfecting Church Pastor’s official Twitter page Wednesday, May 21, he said, “Tina Campbell, you came in the studio, talked to me and ministered to me for about 20 minutes, prayed for me, canceled out some diseases that I was dealing with and it hasn’t come back since.”

The endorsement from the comedian and radio host worked, catapulting Duets to the No. 1 digital chart position for gospel releases and to the No. 18 overall spot on the iTunes Top 100 chart.

In his comments to Campbell, McClurkin further stated, “You laid hands and prayed for me before you got in the booth and started singing. I can’t thank you [enough] for that girl. That anointing on you is real.”

It is no secret that 40-year-old Campbell, who has been making headlines all year long due to the drama-filled adultery saga with her husband Teddy Campbell, believes in the power of prayer.

When her marital issues were at their worst, in May 2013, she made a public plea to fans and supporters to fast and pray daily for 30 days, citing James 5:16, “The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.”

Today, Tina and Teddy Campbell are together, continuing to work on their relationship and grow together in love.

So what’s next for the red-haired “Go Get It” singer and prayer warrior?

She is gearing up to release a book demonstrating how the word of God transformed her through the difficult process of healing.

In the meantime, fans of the singer, who is currently on a recording hiatus, eagerly anticipate the publication of the book.

As of yet, no date has been given.
