WOW: Bishop Neil C. Ellis’s Miraculous Prayer For Kidney Patient Revealed 8 Years Later (Must Read)

Article By Hope Johnson:: EEW Magazine News Editor

Recently, Bishop Neil C. Ellis, formerly of Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International, made headlines for parting ways with Bishop Paul S. Morton’s organization and starting his own.

But now, attention is being turned toward a 2005 prayer of faith and prophetic word spoken over a kidney patient named Cassandra Elliott in Greensboro, NC, who, before encountering his ministry, had been in that condition for 12 long years. But, within hours of his prayer, something amazing happened.

Revealed exclusively by EEW Magazine through an interview with Elliott—the October 2013 cover subject—she told EEW’s award-winning President & CEO, Dianna Hobbs, “I was offered 3 kidneys, after 12 years, in less than an hour on the same night.”

Wow.

According to the US Centers For Disease Control And Prevention 4.4 million adults in the U.S. are diagnosed with kidney disease.

Living Kidney Donors Network reports there are 80,000 people on the kidney transplant waiting list and 4,500 people die every year without having that need fulfilled.

But God used Bishop Ellis’s ministry to do a miraculous work in Elliott’s life.

He covered EEW Magazine in 2010, before EEW publishers got wind of Elliott's fascinating story.

Now, in 2013, her harrowing journey with breast cancer is being featured, as her interview discloses details about how the two miraculously crossed paths, resulting in a life-preserving successful kidney transplant for Elliott.

Both interviews were conducted by EEW’s Founder.

The God-ordained moment occurred at the Greensboro Sheraton hotel on one of the Bahamian leader’s “Walking In Victory” conference tour stops. Elliott, who had a catheter in her stomach at the time and was performing self-dialysis 4 times daily, was believing that it was her year to be made whole.

Her faith was not in vain.

After Bishop Morton taught on Peter’s water-walking faith, she and her husband Bryant Elliott felt led to sow a seed in the offering. On her way up, some of the Bahamians from Mount Tabor Full Gospel Baptist Church in Nassau, Bahamas, pastored by Bishop Ellis, recognized Elliott, a beloved worship leader, and called out to her.

They then sent up a note to Bishop Ellis through his brother, informing him of her condition.

“Bishop Ellis said, ‘There is a young lady in the city of Greensboro that needs a kidney,'" and highlighted how she had faithfully served the Kingdom of God, as well as Full Gospel's youth.

When he called her up to the front, though years had gone by with seemingly no hope, Elliott agreed by faith for a turnaround.

“He said, ‘God, we don’t know how you’re going to do it. But you’re going to do it,’” Elliott continued.

“The beginning of that week, Bishop Ellis pulled out a Christmas tree and said, God is going to give us Christmas in May. He said, ‘Before the end of this week, we’re going to have a miracle.’”

Turns out, it was Elliott’s time.

“The first girl that gave me the number, we went through the process and she was an exact match. I found out in May of that year.”

Christmas had come in May, just as the word of the Lord was spoken through Ellis.

When Elliott found out the good news, she was at a local church, playing the keyboard and singing worship songs for the homeless.

“The phone rings and I’m like ‘Hello,’” she said in a loud whisper, trying to speak quietly. When she discovered her breakthrough, she screamed, “I got a match! I got a match!”

Now, Elliott is facing another harrowing battle against breast cancer, brought on by PTLD— Post-Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disorder, commonly experienced by transplant patients.

Though the journey has been rough, Elliott shares her inspiring account of how God has given wisdom to her doctors to help them treat her effectively.

Her entire must-read story is currently featured in the October issue of EEW Magazine available online at www.EmpoweringEverydayWomen.com.

I believe that God still heals and performs miracles! However after listening to a local pastor, I cant help but wonder would either had happen for this sister IF she had not 'sowed a monetary seed'??? Many non denominational preachers are expousing that ANYTHING you want from God MUST be accompanied by a seed.
