TWITTER BUZZ: Marvin Sapp's Vacay with the Kids

We all know the disparaging statistic that says 72% of all black children are raised in single parent homes. But some of those homes are headed up by loving dads like Pastor Marvin Sapp, whose wife died of colon cancer last fall. He's holding it down and shared his plans to hang out with the kids and do a bit of school shopping via Twitter.

The busy famous father who is gearing up for a live recording in Maryland on October 7, is happy to be taking a much-needed vacation after a hectic travel and performance schedule this year. After a performance in San Fransico tonight, it will be all about daddy time with the kids before they return to school. On Father's Day he shared pics of the family hanging out and having fun. He loves sharing those special moments and EEW BUZZ applauds that.

@MarvinSapp tweeted:

Redeye from San Fran tonight. School shopping in the morning but I'll need a nap first, My kids wanna shop in CHI-TOWN. 2hr drive !!

EEW BUZZ editors hope he has a wonderful time since it is rare that he has time to relax. Recently, in an article written for Huffington Post Black Voices, Sapp talks about how he has been ministering through music from a very early age. "I have been singing gospel music since I was four years old. My first major experience was with Walter Hawkins and the Hawkins family back in the early 70's. They introduced me to a whole new style of gospel music. Not only the Hawkins family; but Andrae Crouch and Rance Allen, just to name a few, shaped the sound that I produce today. This is the sound and testimony that has touched the lives of millions throughout the world."

His upcoming recording is sure to set the stage for Sapp touching millions more lives.
