WATCH: Bishop T.D. Jakes Discusses Bible, Occupy Wall Street, Eddie Long Scandal, and More with CNN Anchor, Don Lemon

One of the things EEW Magazine editors admire about Bishop T.D. Jakes, pastor of The Potter's House in Dallas, is his ability to clearly articulate his position and share wisdom in every setting. Most recently, the megapastor sat down for a chat with Don Lemon, the popular anchor who, after coming out of the closet called those in the black church who take the Bible literally, "naive," had to promote the Bible on air.

Don't you just love that?

And Bishop Jakes masterfully answered every question and lent some great perspective to the Occupy Wall Street movement, sexual abuse cases, including the sexual abuse accusations against Bishop Eddie Long, and more.

When you see that megawatt smile Gospel Great Vickie Winans flashes, it isn't fake. According to the Stellar Award-winning artist and the hardest working woman in the music business, she is truly happy and living the life God has designed for her because of one thing: she stopped caring.

Winans told EEW Magazine's President & CEO, Dianna Hobbs in a one-on-one exclusive interview (Full interview: www.eewmagazine.com/vickie-winans), "When I cared what people thought about me, they kept me crying. And when you don’t care, they can’t hurt your feelings. I don’t care about comments. They can say what they want to say. I let my ways please the Lord and let the chips fall where they may. And that’s why I’m so happy."

Pastor Suggests America Has Created an Idol Out of Obama, Expected Him to be the Messiah

Manuel Balce Ceneta/AP Photo

President Barack Obama and family attended Sunday morning worship service yesterday. Did you? Even if you did, chances are you didn't have a sermon specifically preached about you to the general congregation like our president did... well, a portion of it anyway. When the Obamas walked across the street from the White House to attend St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Dr. Luis Leon had a word he wanted to deliver to clear up some misconceptions about Obama's role in the White House.

"Many unfairly expected a messiah that could cure the U.S. of all its problems," said Leon, "and now we see it's not that easy.  This is not a political diatribe by the way.  It is simply stating the obvious."

Shocking Buffalo High School Girls Basketball Team Pre-game Cheer: 'One, Two, Three, N*GGER!'

The Buffalo News

By Dianna Hobbs

Some stories are so crazy, all you can say is "Seriously?" I was visiting my sister's house in Buffalo when I saw the news report flash across the screen. "What?" I yelled out reflexively after hearing that a majority white High School Girls Basketball team had been using the word "n*gger" in a pregame cheer for years.

The school name is Kenmore East and since I attended Kenmore West (also predominantly white) for a couple years back in the day, I was particularly outraged by this foolishness.

The "cheer" goes "One, Two, Three, N*GGER!"

No, that is not a typo.

What in the world, right?

VIRGINIA TECH SHOOTING: Two People Killed, Pray for the Victims' Families

Photo credit: AP | A police officer secures the scene where a gunman killed a police officer and another person after a traffic stop Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011 on the campus of Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, Va.

How can we ever forget? During the early morning hours of April 16, 2007, a gunman went on a shooting rampage at Virginia Tech. When he was done, 33 students and faculty had been shot dead. Now, 3 years later, another shooting. This time, shortly after noon and reportedly, there are two people dead: one officer, and one other person, believed to the be the gunman.

Pray for the victims' families.

Also pray for those who lost loved ones back in the 2007 Virginia Tech Massacre. This incident surely brings back all sorts of horrid memories.

At this time, there is no known motive.
