Move over First Lady Michelle Obama, there is another gardening pro on the loose. OWN Network CEO, Oprah Winfrey showed off wonderful looking zucchini and artichokes, a new addition to her crops.

The Forbes’ 2013 “Most Influential Celebrity” shared her plans to make veggie soup on Twitter and showed her support for “Food Revolution Day” which aims to raise awareness about the importance of good food, and better food education for everyone by focusing on three simple actions – cook it, share it, live it.

WATCH: Mary Mary "Heartbroken" About Cancelling the Christmas Tour + Erica Gets Glammed Up

Pretty pregnant lady, Erica Campbell of Mary Mary, tweeted an Instagram photo of the after effects of a recent glam session. She looks picture perfect, doesn't she? She's smiling brightly and seems to finally be over the cancellation of the Mary Mary Christmas tour which left both Erica and Tina heartbroken, according to them.

"My doctor said sit you butt down," said Erica via video blog recorded with her sister Tina for Mary Mary fans. In the vlog, the two were elaborating on why they cancelled the tour, expressing their excitement over their two Grammy nominations, and thanking everyone for their support of their music ministry. Watch the approximately three-and-a-half-minute greeting from two funny sisters who are always adorable together when you pop the hood.

BANNED! Radio One & Matthew Knowles Feuding; All Music World Gospel Artists' Songs Snatched from Rotation

Bad news for gospel recording artists signed to Matthew Knowles' Music World Gospel label: Juanita Bynum, Trin-I-Tee 5:7, Brian Courtney Wilson, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Micah Stampley and BET’s “Sunday Best” winners Le’Andria Johnson and Amber Bullock.

All of their music has been effectively banned from a majority of gospel stations in the U.S.  as a part of the backlash from a lawsuit filed against Matthew Knowles' Music World.

CONGRATULATIONS! T.D. Jakes' Son Dexter Headed to Columbia University

Bishop T.D. Jakes' mini-me, Dexter, is making his dad proud. The aspiring music producer is heading off to Columbia University in Chicago come Fall. "I'm very proud!" tweeted Bishop Jakes and asked for prayers for his son. EEW Magazine first reported back in September that young Jakes had his eye on Columbia and was headed to scout it out. Looks like he liked it and will be joining the student body soon.

EEW Magazine loves to see young black men going to college. We are pulling for Dexter to go all the way and earn his degree, and be among those who defy negative statistics.

The Paula White Controversy: Taking Over for Zachery Tims Stirs Up Drama

Accusations of manipulation, angry members, and rumbling about deceit and strong-arming are swirling around the the unofficial announcement that Paula White is taking over for the late Pastor Zachery Tims as Senior Pastor of New Destiny Christian Center. Back in September when EEW Magazine reported that the Without Walls Senior Pastor had been named interim pastor, a ministry insider quickly shot down the claims. But now, after a tweet by Award-winning producer, Kevin Bond, touched off a firestorm of controversy,  according the Christian Post, it looks like White is a shoe-in for the position at NDCC. But plenty of people are up in arms about it.

Gospel Stars Kirk Franklin & James Fortune Share their Christ-Centered Holiday Traditions

It’s easy to get caught up shopping for everyone and stretching your budget to the max when the Christmas holiday rolls around. These days, trying to fulfill the requests from long, often expensive lists, leaves families in debt around the holidays.

But this is not the way Christians ought celebrate Christmas. In fact, our greatest focus should be on God.

Grandson of Marvin Winans Sr. & Vickie Winans Gets Christened at 5 Months

EEW Magazine favorite, Vickie Winans, 58, is a proud grandma. How could she not be with this picture of grandson, Marvin Winans III which  is off-the-Richter on the cuteness meter? And wouldn’t you know the little cutie already has his own Twitter page @marvinwinansiii?

The miniature Winans even and sends out “baby tweets” to his growing fan base. Adorable! In fact, Twitter was the vehicle that so quickly spread the news that 5-month-old Baby Marvin, Grandson of Vickie Winans and Marvin Winans Sr., would be christened at a 3:00 service on Sunday, December 18, at Perfecting Church in Detroit.

SAD BUZZ: BET Sunday Best Winner, Le'Andria Johnson Loses Grandmother

It’s a terrible time to lose a loved one, but many families across the US will be grieving the deaths of close family and friends this Christmas, like Grammy-nominated Sunday Best winner, Le’Andria Johnson. Her
grandmother passed away on Sunday, December 18, just one week shy of Christmas Day.

The singer had reportedly abruptly cancelled weekend engagements to be at her grandmother’s side  after learning the Johnson family matriarch could go home to be with the Lord at any moment.
