Share Jameel McGee, an innocent African-American man was framed and jailed because of the actions of a former Michigan police officer named Andrew Collins.

The year was 2005 when the then-Benton Harbor law enforcement agent filed phony reports to lock McGee up for four years for dealing drugs.

"He got right in my face,” McGee tells CBN's 700 Club, who was, at the time, on his way to the store to get food for his baby. The cop asked where the dope was. When McGee told the officer he had no idea what he was talking about, Collins arrested him anyway.

“I did not see my baby son that day,” McGee says. “I didn’t get to see him until he was four years old.”

“I falsified the report,” Collins admitted to ABC in a 2016 interview. “Basically, at the start of that day, I was going to make sure I had another drug arrest.”

That wasn't the first time Collins falsified police reports. He had a pattern of corruption, committing theft, and planting drugs.

Collins later confessed his wrongdoing and went to prison, too.

Watch the remarkable story of how the two men crossed paths again after each one was out of prison. It is a tale of forgiveness, redemption and restoration.
