Women's ministry leader Dianna Hobbs 'so grateful' to be ministering again [WATCH]

Article By Charlotte Harris // EEW Magazine News Editor

Share Evangelist Dianna Hobbs, Founder of Empowering Everyday Women Ministries, Inc., is ministering again following her miraculous healing in March.

The award-winning urban faith-based media specialist has begun adding ministry dates back to her schedule according to Hobbs’ publicist, Amy Bertinelli.

In new footage of Hobbs, 40, preaching at a local youth conference this past weekend, included on her YouTube channel as part of Hobbs’ latest family vlog, titled, “It was a beautiful moment,” she is seen sharing the word of God and praying for attendees during an altar call.

For a season, the typically busy women’s ministry leader’s calendar was no longer full because her illness stopped her from being able to handle the physical exertion required to fulfill her rigorous ministerial duties.

“Evangelist Hobbs is excited to be healthy and once again able to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through in-person speaking engagements,” said Bertinelli of the first lady of Evangelist Temple Church of God In Christ in Buffalo, NY.

“I’m just so grateful for the opportunity to minister,” Hobbs is seen saying while sitting on the sofa next to her husband, Kenya Hobbs, in the home the couple shares with their four children in Upstate NY.  According to Bertinelli, requests have been pouring into the Pentecostal leader’s administrative assistant, Ari Moore, as pastors and event organizers are made aware that she is open for booking once again.

The vlog’s latest snippets of the licensed COGIC Evangelist-Missionary also include a glimpse back to when she and her spouse of nearly 20 years first accepted leadership roles at the small church they serve, located on Buffalo’s east side.

The EEW Magazine President’s life undeniably has made a full 180-degree turn from the days of intensely battling Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia.

Just months ago, her medical team gave up all hope of recovery, suggesting that lifelong pain management was Hobbs’ only recourse. But the faith community—locally, regionally, nationally and globally—rallied around the beloved Top 100 blogger, fully expecting a healing to take place. As intercessors prayed at a Niagara Falls, NY event themed “50 Women Praying,” all the debilitating symptoms left with no more traces of the incurable diseases present in her body.

Before the divinely-orchestrated shift, so severe was her health situation, last year, Hobbs’ staff was forced to clear her busy schedule. But that’s all behind her now. Since March, Hobbs and her team have steadily been working together to increase her roles, engagements and responsibilities at a steady pace.

“She’s been pacing herself,” said Bertinelli. “Slowly but surely, she’s getting back into the swing of things.”

Hobbs' official YouTube channel welcomes an intimate family of subscribers known as “Team Hobbs." It is the place the internationally-known, best-selling author, shares personal details of her life. The collection of videos is cherished by those who have been deeply touched by Hobbs' ministry and wish to get to know the inspirational visionary better.
