2017 GMA Dove Awards: Women of gospel CeCe Winans, Tamela Mann, Tasha Cobbs and more shine

Photo Credit: Empowering Everyday Women (EEW) Ministries, Inc. congratulates the 2017 GMA Dove Award nominees in the gospel category (Getty/EEW Magazine) Share (EEW Magazine News) The Gospel Music Association announced Wednesday its nominees for the 48th annual Dove Awards, where some of gospel’s finest will be out at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee on Oct. 17.

Among the powerhouse women of color being nominated for their excellence in artistry during the celebration that honors gospel and Christian music is Cece Winans, Tamela Mann and Tasha Cobbs.

The show will air Oct. 22 on Trinity Broadcasting Network. Voting for the final winners will run from Aug. 21-28.
