5 Scriptures to boost your faith for great things in 2017

Article By Alena Dupré // EEW Magazine Spiritual

Share New Year, new beginnings, new blessings!

Whether last year felt like a bust or the best, it’s time to look forward to the future and believe God has great things in store for you in 2017. Here are 5 scriptures to get you pumped for the awesome things to come!

1.) Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)- “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

In 2017, trust that God is already working new wonders in your life. If you’re currently in an unfavorable position, believe that He is working behind the scenes and He's already shifting things.

2.) Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)- “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Believe that great things lie ahead in God’s plan for your life, not just in 2017, but in every year after.

3.) Romans 5:5 (NLT)- “And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.”

Don’t doubt the promises God has given you, or feel strange about believing for things you can’t see! God does amazing things for those He loves.

4.) Psalm 65:11 (ESV)- “You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance.”

This year is going to be blessed. Speak it by faith and believe that God has preordained it.

5.) Numbers 6:24-26 (ESV)- “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”

This is a prayer for you. Together, we trust that the Lord will fulfill it.

May God bless you, and have a Happy New Year!
