New BFF alert: The Shirers and Campbells hit it off

Share Ever heard the saying that you're only as healthy, happy and productive as the people you surround yourself with regularly?

Well, if such is the case, Teddy and Tina Campbell are in good company with Jerry and Priscilla Shirer.

It seems that both Christian couples have hit it off according to a recent Instagram post.

“I love when we connect with other married couples who love Jesus, follow him for real, and love and like each other,” wrote Campbell, best known from the GRAMMY® Award-winning duo Mary Mary, in a photo caption of the group of pals.

The power couples posed together for a smiling snap during the 2017 New Year’s Revival at First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Maryland where the War Room actress was the main speaker Thursday, Jan. 5th. The red-haired “Destiny” singer filled the role of guest soloist Friday, Jan. 6th.

“Priscilla Shirer and Jerry are awesome,” continued the WE tv reality star, calling the co-laborers in ministry “Totally our new bff's”—short for “best friends forever.”

In light of Proverbs 27:17, which says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another," forming a tight bond with loyal and sold-out-to-Jesus folks is the right move.

Last week, Shirer, the New York Times Best-selling author of Fervent, shared a social media clip of Campbell singing at the New Year’s revival, simply captioning it “SAAANG Tina!!!”

It’s nice to see Kingdom-builders striking up friendships, sharpening each other, and vouching for one another openly.

Through the use of hash tags, Campbell was able to express exactly how she views the Shirers, calling them "Good people" and "Godly people."

Nice.
