WATCH: Kim Burrell and Pharrell perform ‘I See a Victory’ on ‘Tonight Show’

Gospel singing sensation Kim Burrell had Jimmy Fallon’s “Tonight Show” audience up and clapping with her outstanding live performance Thursday, Dec. 8.

The Stellar and Dove Award-winning vocalist belted “I See a Victory”— the powerful single from the Hidden Figures movie soundtrack—alongside GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Pharrell Williams.

“Oh my God. That’s the way to do it!” said host Fallon at the end of the choir-backed song performance.

“I See a Victory” was produced by Williams for Hidden Figures, based on the true story of three African American women who worked at NASA in 1969, which hits theaters nationwide Dec. 25.

The "Happy" songwriter is the one who invited Burrell to get musically involved with the project.

Pharrell Williams and I met some time ago. He called me and shared that he was a part of this new film project and he needed me to fly out as soon as possible because he wanted my voice on the soundtrack,” the “Thank You Jesus” singer told Rolling Out in a recent interview.

“I flew to LA, heard the song and recorded,” shared the 44-year-old who “had so much fun” spicing up the track that GRAMMY® Award-winning producer and songwriter Kirk Franklin also had a hand in shaping.

Get ready to clap your hands as you watch the full performance below.
