Hey moms! Bible teacher Priscilla Shirer introduces new children’s series ‘The Prince Warriors’

If you've been praying for a faith-based book series your children will actually like, this just may be your answer.

Share These days, our children are bombarded with all sorts of filth online and even in books.

But no worrieous, mom. Trusted Christian Bible teacher Priscilla Shirer is introducing a wholesome and entertaining new series.

Based on Ephesians 6:10–18, The Prince Warriors is the first book in a trilogy that brings to life the invisible struggle going on in the spiritual realm in a fun, adventure-filled way.

“Praying that this series is a blessing to your tween and helps them to get their armor on & their hearts set on victory!” wrote the War Room actress on Instagram, who is also a wife and mom of three boys.

Here’s the plot.

As brothers, Xavier and Evan are used to battling each other. But now they’re discovering that there is a much bigger battle going on all around them. And it’s their turn to fight.

Xavier, Evan, and their friends have typical lives until they enter a mysterious land called Ahoratos. There they meet their guide, Ruwach, who offers wisdom and direction as the kids’ initial adventure begins—an adventure filled with armor and danger and a very real enemy.

The fiction trilogy will also come along with the 365 Prince Warriors Devotional and app.

To bring to life the characters, Shirer, a New York Times Best-Seller, who conceptualized the story over a period of six years, teamed up with writer, Gina Detwiler, based in Buffalo, New York.

Detwiler is a wife, mom of three daughters and author of numerous dramas and screenplays for churches, published by Lillenas and DramaMinistry. She has written two novels, Avalon and Hammer of God, under the name Gina Miani.

“I prayed for a long time for the right writer, because it was a bit of a sacrifice for me to not write it myself,” said Shirer in a video introducing her blog readers to Detwiler.

Pre-order The Prince Warriors here, which hits shelves April 1, 2016.
