Pastor Paula White Gets Revealing in Daring Red Dress at 2013 Trumpet Awards

By EEW Magazine News & Entertainment Editors

Paula White appears on the red carpet at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta on Saturday, January 26 for the 2013Trumpet Awards, sponsored by Cadillac. Pastor Paula White,  senior pastor of New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka, Florida shimmered on the red carpet at the 2013 Trumpet Awards in daring red halter dress.

“I'm excited & honored to be here in Atlanta at the Trumpet Awards with Xernona Clayton!” said Pastor White on her “Paula White Ministries” Facebook page. “She is amazing & inspiring :)”

Xernona Clayton, Founder, President and CEO of the Trumpet Awards Foundation, Inc. and Creator and Executive Producer of the Foundation’s Trumpet Awards at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta on Saturday, January 26 for the 2013Trumpet Awards, sponsored by Cadillac.Clayton is the Founder, President and CEO of the Trumpet Awards Foundation, Inc. and Creator and Executive Producer of the Foundation’s Trumpet Awards. The televised event, which highlights African American accomplishments and contributions, began in 1993, and is now distributed internationally to over 185 countries around the world.

White, who showed up at the star-studded affair solo, is the ex-wife of Pastor Randy White, with whom she co-founded Without Walls International Church in Tampa. At Bishop T.D. Jakes’ Woman Thou Art Loosed 2012 conference, the divorced mother introduced her biological son Bradley to thousands of women at Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA.

She shared his inspiring testimony of how young Bradley went from being a victim of sexual abuse by another man, addicted to drugs, and a self-proclaimed atheist, to a powerful preacher and intercessor.

White, who has candidly shared her own struggle with prescription drug abuse, eating disorders, and depression, made constant headlines in late 2011 and early 2012 for her controversial takeover of New Destiny. The position became available after its 42-year-old Founder, Zachery Tims, died in a NYC hotel of a suspected drug overdose.

Today, January 28, marks the expansion of Paula White's s media enterprise.

Her faith-based talk show, "Paula White Today," will now be made available on the Sky Angel network Monday through Friday at 11am ET.

I think she looks beautiful! It's not anymore revealing than what SOME of the other Christian artists and Pastors wear! Growing up, I have always had a love for fashion. When we got married (my husband is a minister), I allowed people (church folks), to put me in a box. I purchased long "church lady suits", and wore clothes that were 2 sizes too big! I was miserable, not because the clothes were beautiful, but because I was not confident or comfortable. I have since grown UPWARD and ONWARD! I respect myself and my husband, and he quickly noticed the change in me! I am in no way indescent when I leave my home, but I am confident. I have learned to listen to the voice of THE LORD, he convicts me, not those church folks!

Pastor Paula White is a very beautiful woman but this is too much in my opinion. Not saying she's going to hell for it but everything that is "lawful" is not "expedient" and we don't need to see all that.

I'm over this do-what-feels-good-to-you mentality in the church. What about ministry and being accountable? What about being concerened with how you might be a hindrance or stumbling block to someone else? Lets get it togeteher ladies. That dress INAPPROPRIATE!!!

Too much skin

January 28, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterC

okay, so your clothes can be so tight that you can't walk straight, but as long only as your head and hands are visible, it's okay? !! Really?

She's a pastor. She needs to cover up. This gets a thumbs down from me.

Paula White is an awesome WOG! Love her!

One yank and we're gonna have a problem Houston called a "wardrobe malfunction"!! That neckline is a little deep or am I just deep and overly-sanctified?

The church deserves better. Are there any good female role models for our daughters to look up to anymore?!? Lord, give us more women like Ms. Serita Jakes. This is sad!

Pastor Paula White should have reconsidered the dress she wore it is a beautiful dress, however the wrong style for her.It doesn't compliment her at all the top part of her body looks old and saggy. She wanted to experiment and te hats good however something not soo revealing would have been better. Kingdom women are really buying into let it all hang out. and being liberated. There's a way to be be fashionable, liberated and still be a kingdom woman.I wear long stylish attire and I always receive compliments. Not everybody can do that it just how it flows with me andmy husband always tell me I look like a queen even when i wear a short knee lenghth outfit it's always in good taste. I never show my boobs except in the bedroom actually some men are embarrassed with these show and tell outfits.Especially Y'anna Crawley and Amber Bullock that was totally embarrassing at the Stellar Awards..K

I don't think it's too much skin as much as it's a bad fitting. The dress should be fitted to her body a little more and the bust area should be up at least an inch or 1/2 and inch more. And she could have had a shawl to make everyone else happy who feels that she's showing too much shoulder.

Wear the dress just a little further down.....

All I see is SELF.

The Bible states to come out from among the world and be separate. Paula White looks just like the world instead of looking like a holy woman she is commanded to be for the Bible also says "be ye holy as Iam holy " in I Peter 1:16. I pray she repents for misrepresenting God in her choice of attire.

April 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterWanda Johnson

She has a pretty face and the dress is a nice one. However, this bright red dress does not really compliment her, as a minister of the gospel. She would look much better by covering her shoulders, and wearing some sleeves with those arms. Also, the low cut makes her look much older. It gives her a sagging look. I firmly believe that female ministers should keep their breasts covered up in public. No need to show those udders to the whole world.

May 23, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterApostle Paul

I can remember when Paula displayed some modesty, and there was a lot of power in her message. Seeing her in this state of desperation make her look so powerless. We can't deceive ourselves, the bible advocate modesty. I pray God will pull Paula back to that place of beauty His way. It is sad because she has corrupted many women in their way of thinking.

I don't think the watch she is wearing is appropriate for the gown. Too large, wide.
Her watch needs to be more delicate to be attractive with the gown. Other than that,
she looks great!

I Believe a child of the King should dress like one too.... we need to have MORALS.... we are ROYAL... Priesthoods...we are a reflection of God's image.... how can we be respected if the WORLD can see most of the body? i feel so ashamed.. don't get me wrong shes a blessed woman.. I love her preaching but..... she needs to reconsider her dress code... IN FACT even before she walked out her door... the HOLY SPIRIT would have told her she needs covering... so it makes me think where was the HOLY SPIRIT?was it not with her?was she not on her place...??...

September 10, 2014 | Unregistered CommenterClaire

She sold out to the world she has been blinded by the god of this world and is not representing herself as a christian woman another fallen reprobate
