Newly Launched Christian Women's Website 'GettingBetterEveryday.org' Seeks to Inspire Hope

BUFFALO, N.Y., Sept. 5, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- With an economy in crisis, natural disasters wrecking homes and lives, and millions of families experiencing increasingly challenging times, Empowering Everyday Women, an urban evangelism ministry, today announced the official launch of a new Christian inspirational website, www.GettingBetterEveryday.org.

The site is currently highlighting the stories of 7 women of faith who have overcome unique challenges as a means of inspiring those yet struggling through difficult times to believe for better days.

Each woman featured on GettingBetterEveryday.org represents a specific struggle like: career stagnation, adoption, infertility, prolonged illness, sexual abuse, and the often frustrating quest to discover true purpose and meaning in life.

According to a ministry spokesperson, more stories will be added to the site to provide ongoing encouragement and support for those who need it most.

"I realize that we draw strength from the testimonies of others who have braved challenging storms and come out on the other side victoriously with God's help," said Dianna Hobbs, Empowering Everyday Women Ministries Founder, who is also featured on GettingBetterEveryday.org.

After surviving cardiac arrest following a surgical procedure to repair a broken wrist in 2011 and subsequently falling ill for months, Hobbs' health was declining rapidly. During her ordeal which, she says, "even had doctors stumped," Hobbs recalls a word of advice received from her mother that was instrumental in spawning GettingBetterEveryday.org. "Dianna, no matter how you feel, I want you to say, 'It's getting better every day,'" she advised and Hobbs listened.

It is her hope and prayer that others will be able to "see past the heartache" and believe things are looking up. Visit the site at www.GettingBetterEveryday.org online.
