I saw this show and I was really blessed by Marvin Sapp! Love him.
I found this segment to be one of the most profound discussions that I have heard to date on how "The Church" has a tendency to throw away useful men & women all because their history is not squeaky clean. I LOVED that each one of these men pointed us back to Scripture when "informing" listeners that the Bible is FULL of people who did not have a squeaky clean past, but God chose to use them anyway. God bless all the pastors who sat in with Bishop Jakes. This is POWERFUL, Men of God!!! Absolutely POWERFUL!!!
the fact that god used people that had issues is not a reason to advocate living a lifestyle of sin & try to justify it...yes god will use the imperfect but it is possible to b used & become a cast away urself...god requires holiness...righteous living according to his word...holiness without which no man shall c the lord says the word...it is the advocating of the heresy that u can live anyway u want to u & excuse it buy saying no one is perfect or we should not judge that has caused the church to b like salt that has lost it's savor...the world has very little respect for the church & the generation coming up is less enthused by what they c...we don't have to compromise to get a crowd...what's the use of a crowd if most of the people who make it up is not saved...a waste....
