Gospel took center stage on yesterday’s episode of BET’s 106 & Park. Teen finalists Alexis Spight and Joshua Rogers popped in to share their thoughts on what the experience has been like competing for the Sunday Best title. Plus, each one articulates why they should be selected.
One of the refreshing things to see is how close the two teens, Alexis and Joshua, who both love God, have grown to become. While some might assume a competition would engender feelings of jealousy, envy, and well, competitiveness, Alexis Spight says there is no rivalry, all love.
Watch their interviews inside.
It's nice to see our youth representing Christ on a national stage.

They both did a beautiful job! In this day and age where young people act so crazy I am happy to see youth loving Jesus. Whoever wins it will be great.
These two have been a delight to watch. However, from the beginning of this season is that they're looking for a male winner...so the writing appears to be on the wall. Both have bright futures. Whenever I see Joshua, though, I just pray that he doesn't get turned out by the (gospel) music industry. Based on what's been exposed in recent months, years, etc., well... sigh... Cover him, Lord!
