The heartbreaking news that 11-year-old Kile Glover, the stepson of singer Usher Raymond, son of Tameka Raymond and her ex-husband, Atlanta TV executive Ryan Glover, has impacted people everywhere. The family of the critically injured boy, who suffered severe head trauma Friday, is soliciting prayer.
"We know God's in control, and are leaning on our faith in him and his word at this most difficult time," the family said in a statement to CNN on Tuesday. "We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it's the best way we can all support him now."
According to an accident report from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, a personal water craft driven by a man identified as Jeffrey S. Hubbard of Atlanta, crashed into Kile Glover and a girl as they rode on an inner tube being towed by a pontoon boat in Lake Lanier on Friday.
Kile suffered a head injury and was unresponsive when pulled from the lake following the crash.
While various online reports say Kile Glover is “brain dead” the family has not yet spoken specifically about the child’s condition. Officials close to the situation have not publically disclosed details due to privacy concerns.
CNN says the family has held a vigil at the hospital since Friday.

This story is so sad. It just breaks my heart in two! I am praying for the family. I can't imagine what its like to lose a child.
He is such a cutie! I hope little Kile pulls through. I also hope this will be a wake up call for Tameka and Usher. They need to stop fighting and value life and love. You never know what tomorrow holds .
I have been praying since I heard about! This is a nightmare. Heart goes out to the family forreal.
Ok, first of all I don't think these other sites need to be saying this baby is brain dead if his family is not saying that! Even if they do have "sources" why circulate this information before they are ready to talk about it. The media can be so invasive and disrespecful of people's privacy! Kile and the entire family is in my prayers.
I love to see people in crisis turning to God and talking faith because that is the ONLY thing that will keep us. None of us knows how this will turn out but we are believing God for the BEST!
I hope this will bring the family closer and they will unify through this time of crisis.
God please keep the family and help them through this I pray. Let your will be done Lord. Amen.
