We love to see Christians getting so much airtime on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network. The iconic media mogul teamed with two mega church pastors, Joel Osteen and Rick Warren, for an inspirational Life Class Friday focused on how to dream and live big—something they all know a thing or two about.
The Lifeclass was recorded at the Hobby Center in Houston, TX and is set to air Oct. 28.
In an interview with Houston’s KHOU, Osteen, pastor of the 43,000-member Lakewood church in Houston, TX said of Winfrey, "She has such a deep desire to help others be the best that they can. She could be doing anything else in the world--retired, running around, hanging out," but instead the network CEO is doing her best to enhance the lives of others.
As Winfrey and Osteen laughed, talked, and completed interviews together, it was clear that they had both grown fond of the other.
Ms. Winfrey even defended Osteen, author of new book I Declare:31 Promises to Speak Over Your Life, against some of his detractors by telling the media, “He’s as nice as he appears to be. That’s what people can’t stand.”
There was also a second Lifeclass taping with Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church in California that boasts over 20,000 weekly attendants.
Warren is the author of the wildly popular book, The Purpose-Driven Life, which is one of the best-selling Christian books of all time.

I will be watching. :)
Love Joel and Oprah! Both have such huge hearts and generous spirits.
Can't wait to watch this. Love inspirational television. Thanks for posting.
HOLD UP! Rick Warren embraces the new Chislam movement, right?
I noticed how the article mentioned that they will be talking about how to dream big, but says nothing about Christ or the Word at all. Some of these ministers may as well be motivational speakers, because to call them "ministers" seems like a joke to me. And to be on Oprah's channel, Oprah doesn't even believe that Jesus is the only way to get to heaven, so why would they even be on her show?
