‘One Million Moms’ Blasts ABC FAMILY for Embracing Jennifer Lopez’s Upcoming Lesbian Series Pilot

“ABC has lost their minds” says One Million Moms, the conservative Christian watchdog organization that strives to keep mainstream media accountable. The group is opposing Jennifer Lopez's ABC Family pilot "The Fosters" about a lesbian couple raising a multi-ethnic mix of biological and foster kids.
“A premiere date has not been set, but One Million Moms wanted to sound the alarm about this new series,” says the OMM website. “It will be airing on the network soon unless we do something about it. They are in the beginning stages.”
OMM’s primary concern is, “this program is attempting to redefine marriage and family by having two moms raise these children together,” and believes “None of this material is acceptable content for a family show.”
In its letter posted to supporters, OMM points out that “Hollywood is continuing to push an agenda that homosexuality is acceptable when scripture states clearly it is a sin. As Christians, the Bible also says that we must speak up against sin. If we remain silent then we are guilty of sin also. “
The fact that depictions of gay characters on television has increased as a way of normalizing the lifestyle in the eyes of the public is undeniable.
“The cultural battlefield of television has changed markedly since the 1990s, when conservative groups and religious figures objected to Ellen DeGeneres coming out and ‘Will & Grace’ coming on,” pointed out New York Times writer Brian Stelter in an article titled “Gay on TV: It’s All In the Family.”
Stelter also highlights the fact that “activists and academics say that depictions of gay characters on television play a big role in making viewers more comfortable with their gay, lesbian and transgender neighbors.”
The rise in gay-friendly programming is no coincidence.
ABC’s gay comedy, “Modern Family” is the most-honored television comedy, winning the Best Comedy award for the third year in a row at this year’s Emmy’s.
Also, shows like Glee, Smash, Grey’s Anatomy, and NBC’s The New Normal all highlight gay characters.
Lopez will reportedly be an executive producer for her lesbian show, “The Fosters.”
One Million Moms notes that casting has not been announced. It's still in the pilot stage and hasn't been picked up for a series yet. “Let's stop this dead in it its tracks,” the organization encourages its supporters.

I don't always agree with One Million Moms like with the Ellen thing, but they have it right on this one. Good call!
One Million Moms gets it in! lol I agree that this is not suitable television for Christian families. But this is not Christian television so the WORLD is going to air whatever they want. IF you don't like it don't watch.
The Word say "let the redeemed of the Lord say so," (Ps.107:2). People of God need to speak up and speak out if necessary, because even though we're not of the world, we still must dwell in the earth as long as we are here in the flesh. Our children are being exposed to this trash 24/7 and demonic forces are positioning these programs to entice and lure our children into this lifestyle. We will not be able to say to are God's children and not speak out against sin, something God hates! You may not change their mind, but if we speak it, God will honor his word. Some have not been taught God's word about certain things, so when we point to God's words and say what is written and what the Spirit of God has declared, eventually God is going to back-up His word, not OUR word, but GOD"S WORD.
