Haiti Marks Second Anniversary of Devastating Earthquake, Working to Repair the Country
Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 8:56AM

Two years ago, on January 12, 2012 a catastrophic 7.0 magnitude earthquake devastated Haiti around the capital city of Port-au-Prince, killing 300,000 people. President Obama has promised the people of Haiti that "you will not be forsaken; you will not be forgotten."
Today, we are praying for Haiti as many areas still lie in ruins, desperately in need of assistance. If you would like to get involved with the relief efforts, The White House has provided a list of avenues through which you can effectively help.
Log onto WhiteHouse.gov for more information.
We are yet praying for Haiti through this tough time.
