Eddie Long: "People Are Wondering What I'm Going to Say"

Bishop Eddie Long, who has been mum about the scandal surrounding the young men who claim the pastor coerced them into homosexual acts, broke his silence. Of course his commentary has nothing to do with pleading guilty or innocent.
"Unfortunately, we are in the media again and people are wondering what I am going to say,” said Long in a statement yesterday. “All I have to say is what we stated earlier. All parties involved decided to resolve the civil cases out of court. The decision was made to bring closure to this matter and allow us to move forward with the plans God has for this ministry.”
That's going to be very hard to do now, since Long's accusers, who are angry, told Atlanta’s SWB-TV their upcoming book will detail what they went through with Eddie Long in order to warn others.
This is all bad news for Long, who still has never fessed up to any wrongdoing.
Long also said he planned to “continue to honor and abide by my commitment of confidentiality and restraint as it relates to the resolution of the civil litigation and will not be diverted from the important work of the ministry.”
*Blank stare*
Um, Eddie Long, sir, when it comes to abiding by commitments, a confidentiality agreement is the last thing on the public's mind!
EEW BUZZ editors are inclined to agree with Bishop Paul Morton who rebuked Eddie Long back in June.
This is a hot and spicy mess with burnt edges on it.
